Three bedrooms, an integrated garage and a 460 m² plot in a quiet hamlet at Béganne, for €185,000 all in. It is the least expensive three-bedroom package in our Redon selection by a clear margin, and the agency fees are paid by the seller rather than added to your side of the bill.
The house is our three-bedroom bungalow with integrated garage: 85 m², everything on one level. A bright open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opens onto the terrace and garden, with three bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a separate WC, a utility room and the garage built in. The layout can be adapted to your wishes and a second bathroom is possible.
Stated plainly: the plot needs an individual drainage system and a soil study, and the other servicing is not specified in the advertisement. The soil study is part of the CCMI process in any case, and the drainage and connections are designed and quoted before you sign.
About Béganne
Béganne is a village in the south-east of the Morbihan, above the Vilaine, in the country between Redon and the Muzillac marshes. It is quiet, green and genuinely rural, and it has kept a working centre with a bakery, shops, a school and a market.
Its landmark is the Château de Léhélec, a seventeenth-century manor in the warm red schist of the Vilaine valley, set in its own park with outbuildings and an ornamental lake — one of the most attractive small estates in the Morbihan.
The Vilaine below the village is broad and slow here, on its way down to the barrage at Arzal and the sea. There are footpaths along it, fishing, and boats moving through in summer; the old river port of La Roche-Bernard, with its harbour and its restaurants, is around twenty minutes downstream.
Redon is around twenty minutes: 9,500 residents, supermarkets, a hospital, schools and several lycées, a cinema, a weekly market, and a station with a direct TGV to Paris in about two and a quarter hours. Vannes and the Gulf of Morbihan are around forty minutes, Nantes about an hour, and the Atlantic beaches at Pénestin and Damgan roughly half an hour.
